UKAOS Subgroups

UKAOS have a New Consultants Group 

The group chairs are Dr Kate Young and Dr Saif Ahmad both of whom are UKAOS board members

They have established a small committee to take the group forward and plan to meet every 3 months. 

They have agreed some preliminary focus areas including::

  • Support for benchmarking job plans for AOS consultants
  • Working across the subgroups to agree KPIs for AOS services
  • Support for AO innovations including support for research and the development of real world protocols/ guidelines

The group plans to reach out across alliances/networks and health boards to ensure good representation across the UK.
