RE: Draft guideline extension to NICE guideline on Metastatic spinal cord compression in adults: risk assessment, diagnosis and management

This draft guideline and its supporting evidence consultation has now been extended to Wednesday 19 April.

Please note that we have proposed a change to the title of this guideline to Spinal metastases and metastatic spinal cord compression, to more closely reflect the content of the updated guideline.

We hope that your organisation will submit comments on the draft guideline; it is a valuable opportunity to ensure that the guideline considers issues important to your members. The consultation page has all the information and documents you need to comment.

The Developer has produced an economic model to support the guideline. An executable version of this model is available on request, and will be released on receipt of a completed confidentiality form.

We have not reviewed the evidence for the recommendations within our draft guideline shaded in grey. Therefore, please do not submit any comments on these recommendations as we cannot accept them.

The consultation will close at 5pm on Wednesday 19 April 2023.
